Just wanted to say how very pleased my husband and I were with our daughter's wedding and reception there at Oakhurst on Monday, Sept. 7th. Everything was so beautiful, the gardens, the Hall, it could not have been a more perfect event! The staff at Oakhurst was so pleasant and kind and we just cannot find the words to express our gratitude to everyone there. We are still getting emails and calls from friends and family to say what a beautiful wedding it was and how beautiful Oakhurst was. Kelli and Kristin were such a blessing to us, they were so helpful and friendly and really made us feel much more calm and at ease during one of the most important events in our daughter's life and ours. Thank you all so very much for the opportunity to have our event there and to be honored to share in the beauty and serenity of Oakhurst Farm. We will never forget the day and all of you there.

First please let me share how so very enjoyable having Katie and Joe's wedding at Oakhurst was for our entire family. Different family members arrived in Georgia at different times throughout the week, but your wonderful venue made it possible for the family to enjoy every single minute we had together. We were able to spend the day leisurely with the bride and her attendants with no panic, no tears and no fuss. Your staff took care of every single detail without our asking - some things we had not even thought of ourselves.

Though we had visited Oakhurst several times in the months before the wedding and observed the grounds in the changing seasons, there was no way we could prepare our guests for this lovely venue. Katie's grandfather was a dairy farmer and the cows bawling near the end of the ceremony added charm and character to an already charming setting. All our guests were very impressed. "I would have to say the way the decorations turned out inside when we had to shift the ceremony inside due to weather was probably one of the things I was most pleased with. Oakhurst is an amazing location to hold an event. I believe the grounds are gorgeous and the potential for whatever you have in mind is limitless. Not only is it a beautiful place to have an event outdoors, but indoors as well.
